Pastor Jerry Bennett
Jerry Bennett has been in the Gospel Ministry for the past 47 years. Opportunities he has served included the positions of Youth Minister, Associate Pastor, Minister of Education, Bus and Children's Worship Minister, Minister of Evangelism, and Superintendent of a Christian School. He holds a B A from the University of Houston and an MA in Christian Education from Liberty Seminary.
Pastor Jerry came to Reklaw in the Summer of 2012 to pulpit supply. Following a period of time in this capacity, he served as interim Pastor. In September of that year, he was called as Pastor of Reklaw Baptist Church. He is married to Dee Anne, has 3 grown children, John, Paul, and Mary and 5 grandchildren, Mason, Hannah, Thomas, Lila, and Knox.
His life Bible verse is John 15:16, "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to You., "
